This morning we went down for breakfast , cheese, hams, cakes, muslei or cornflakes, egg, croissants. We then went to Radda in Chianti where Wanita bought another scarf. We came across a vegetable garden at the top of the village which was very unusual as there is rarely any grass in these hilltop villages just buildings built on top of and next to each other . The old man gardener saw our interest and invited us in for a closer look. We were meeting Bruce & Sue vandersee and Janelle martin and friend Graham at Volpaia for lunch. We had lunch at a place I had been before. After lunch we had thought of doing a walk but it had started to spit with rain so we all did a tour showing how they make wine and the old cellars. After lunch we drove to Radda and had coffee then looked at a shoe shop. We said goodbye to the others and Wanita and I drove to nearby Castellina in Chianti where we found some awesome art galleries,artist was agnostino veroni. We drive home and did a walk to the restaurant down the road but it was closed so came home and tried an aperol spritz. We didn't eat tea as we are still full from lunch.
