We dropped Jim at the airport and returned the car and found Lyndie waiting patiently at the Hertz car hire place.Her plane had got in at about 7am. so she had been there a couple of hours. We said good bye to Jim and got the bus to the city and found our hotel.,had showers and went for a walk to the Duomo and the huge galleria next door going through a garden on the way. We stopped at maccas opposite the duomo just to say we had eaten opposite the duomo as Jim had eaten(a frappe) at a restaurant opposite the duomo a few years ago. We stopped for gelati and fruit salad(photo) on the way home as it was a long walk. .
Walked back and tried the internet again but it is not working for us at this hotel unfortunately.
We went out for tea around the corner and had pizza and grilled mediteranian vegies and walked passed a stone church on the way home.
